Sessions can be booked privately or as individual seats, with clear guidance for first-timers and space for regulars to build a consistent routine. Expect a clean, considered set-up, a warm welcome, and the kind of quiet you only get in the countryside.

Whether you are coming off a long week, training hard, or just looking for time away from screens and noise, BYRE at Balgone gives you a place to breathe, reset, and leave feeling better than you arrived.

What's Available

Herd Cafe

HERD is a café rooted in the rhythm of the farm. Morning coffees, freshly baked cakes, and easy lunches. A good place to arrive before a session or unwind after. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 3pm. HERD Run Club meets every Sunday at 9:10am.

Wood Fired Sauna

A high-output wood-fired sauna that reaches the temperatures needed for a proper session. Built for heat, löyly, and nothing more.

Indoor Changing Facilities

A clean, considered changing space to arrive and leave in comfort. Benches and hanging rails included.

Cold Plunge

A filtered cold plunge for the full contrast. Water is changed and tested daily. Optional — but most guests take the plunge once they are warmed through.

1 Hour Sessions

Each session runs for one hour. Enough time to properly warm up, take the cold, and settle into the rhythm at your own pace.

Open Sauna

Book individual seats and share the sauna with a small group. A good way to try BYRE for the first time, or to make it part of a regular week.

Private Booking

Hire the sauna exclusively for your group. Up to six people, your own schedule, your own pace. Well suited to friends, couples, or anyone who prefers not to share.
